Marie Jensen, founder of Relax Event Studio, has been event planning and managing for over ten years. She holds a BFA in Drama from New York University, which gives her an organized, disciplined, and creative approach to planning events. She has worked in both the private and non-profit sectors and has produced everything from weddings to off Broadway plays. From 2012-2016 she represented Grand Forks as a state legislator before retiring from public life to start a family.
Marie was also the graphic designer for both the Arts Council in Grand Forks as well as for many New York theater productions.
Marie is passionate about bringing your vision to life and executing the details of your event while taking the stress off you on your special day. Marie was Event Manager for five Grand Cities Art Fests, an arts festival that brings 35,000+ people to downtown Grand Forks each June. She has also lent her talents to the Art & Wine Walk, founded the Zombie Music Fest, and planned and managed countless other dinners, festivals, ceremonies and weddings.
